WELCOME TO ALTA VISTA HIGH SCHOOL

Who Should Attend Alta Vista High School?

Alta Vista is a small high school, where students can make up credits for graduation or accelerate to complete high school in a shorter time than in a traditional high school. AVHS class sizes are smaller than the classes in comprehensive high schools, allowing teachers to spend more time assisting students. Alta Vista is a safe and welcoming place with a caring and supportive staff.

PEACHJAR:

In the past, our schools have sent home various flyers in students' backpacks that created clutter and were not environmentally friendly. With Peachjar, we will be moving from paper to digital flyers. Eflyers will now be sent directly to parents’ emails as well as posted online for easy access.
Every year, each school will save approximately 2-3 tons of paper and reduce copy costs by thousands of dollars. In addition, paperless delivery of school flyers removes a significant administrative burden from teachers, office staff, and volunteers.

School-approved eflyers will keep you informed about upcoming school activities, programs, and events. And our children's backpacks will be a little bit lighter! You will receive a welcome email from the service provider, Peachjar, which includes a username and password. To ensure smooth delivery of this communication, please add school@peachjar.com to your email contacts.

Thank you for helping our schools save time, money, and lots of trees!
